The trial period for this product has expired on SharePoint

The trial period for this product has expired on SharePoint

Issue: While working on SharePoint 2013 in My test lab, all of surprise when I browse the site, it was shown an error message "The trial period for this product has expired."

Cause: There are some of the reasons that we see the error, below are the ones that cause the error.
  • SharePoint that we use is trailed version and it was expired.
  • Issue with  Central Administrator Application pool Account
  • issue with my registry.
Solution:

1.    SharePoint that we use is trailed version and it was expired

In this case, we should go to licensed version or uninstall SharePoint totally and install again to use the trail version for some days.

2.    Issue with  Central Administrator Application pool Account

Ensure that the Central Administrator Application pool is running with the Local admin account not with the Network Administrator.
Go to Run--> inetmgr-->Application Pools--> SharePoint Central Administrator--> Advanced Settings--> Identity

Or add the current application pool identity account to local Administrator group.

Ensure to do Run "iisreset"

3.    issue with my registry.
If seeing the same issue after applying the above solutions. Then it should be some configuration issue.
Run the SharePoint PSConfiguration wizard and check.
Or
Run psconfig.exe -cmd secureresources and check.

A deployment or retraction is already under way for the solution, and only one deployment or retraction at a time is supported

A deployment or retraction is already under way for the solution, and only one deployment or retraction at a time is supported

Issue: while we are deploying the solutions in SharePoint, sometimes we face the issue that the solution will not be deployed and the error would be” A deployment or retraction is already under way for the solution, and only one deployment or retraction at a time is supported”

Cause: After Digging , come to know that, The reason behind the issue is the timer job is created for the deployment but not running, you will be unable to redeploy or retract the solution due to that.

Solution: please follow the below steps to resolve the issue.
1.    Go to Central Admin -> System Settings -> Manage Farm Solutions.
2.    Cancel the deployment for your present solution. It may show the status failed or deploying, which means deployment is not successful.

3.    Now again try to redeploy the solution

The management agent MOSSAD-Connection with AD failed on run profile “DS_FULLIMPORT” because of connectivity issues

The management agent MOSSAD-Connection with AD failed on run profile “DS_FULLIMPORT” because of connectivity issues.

Issue: After configuring the User profile service application, when we start the full synchronization, we see the error” The management agent MOSSAD-Connection with AD failed on run profile”

Cause: As in my view and experiance, This error  is generally caused by the User running the task not having the right permissions set up on Active Directory.
There could be many reasons, This is the most common.

Event ID:
·        Log Name:      Application
·        Source:        FIMSynchronizationService
·        Event ID:      6050
·        Task Category: Management Agent Run Profile
·        Level:         Error
·        Keywords:      Classic
·        User:          N/A
·        Computer:      SharePoint2013
·        Description:
·        The management agent “MOSSAD-Connection with AD” failed on run profile “DS_FULLIMPORT” because of connectivity issues.

Solution: please follow the below steps if you have the Access to AD. If not, please check the steps with AD team.

1.   Open the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in.
2.   On the View menu, click Advanced Features.
3.   Right-click the domain object, i.e. for EX: “Sharepoint.com”, and then click Properties.
4.   On the Security tab, click Add. If for some reason the user account you are using to run this service is already on the list you can skip to step 7.
5.   In the Select Users, Computers, or Groups dialog box find the user account under which the profile sync service is running and then click Add.
6.   Click OK to return to the Properties dialog box.
7.   Select the recently added user account // user account under which the profile sync service will run under.
8.   Ensure to Select the “Replicating Directory Changes” check box from the list.
9.   Click Apply and then click OK.
10.     Now start a new full sync from your SharePoint Central Administration to verify the issue has been resolved!
